I unscrewed the motor housing and slid it back over the cable. I removed the strain relief clamp and unscrewed the wires from the terminal block. Next I removed the old cable and rubber strain relief. I then cut the lead wires to the proper length from the new cable and had to solder the ends before sliding the wires into the terminal block after I had slid the rubber strain relief onto the new cable. Reinstalled the motor housing and I was done.
