This is an authentic Metabo replacement part manufactured for use with angle grinders. Armatures are one of the main parts of an electric motor. Several things can cause an armature to fail. The wirings can overheat and burn, the commutator bars can break, and debris can break the fan blades preventing the fan from cooling the motor. This armature is available as an individual replacement part, please note the bearings are available separately.
