The tool housing is easily dismantled. Switch part is a simple plug in part with stab in electrical wire connections. I replaced the brushes as a preemptive measure. Pop the old ones out and pop the new ones in. Needle nose pliers are helpful.
Removed the lower housing of the grinder. Made a wiring diagram of the switch and electronic unit. Disconnected old switch and electronic unit. By referring to the wiring diagram I reconnected the new switch and electronic unit .Replaced the lower housing. Then tested the grinder. Worked great.
Remove the lower housing of the grinder
Make a wiring diagram
Disconnect the wires from the old switch
Connect the wires to the new switch
Disconnect the old brushes and remove from brush holders
Connect the new brushes and place in the brush holders
Install the lower housing
