Removed screws from housing
disconnected cord from switch
disconnected witch from internal wiring
reconnected cord to switch
reconnected switch to internal wiring
screwed the switch and cord back into place
screwed housing back together

1. remove the switch cover 2.loosen the screws on the switch and remove the old cord 3.cut wires to length 4. strip and solder the tip of each wire 5.insert the wires into the switch and tighten the screws 6.put the cover back on ...done

Took the covers off just the half on my grinder, blew out all the fine dust accumulation in the housing with air compressor and replace the power cord and brushes, now its is as good as new almost.
