This is an authentic Fein replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with angle grinders. The switch assembly is used to relay electricity from the power cord to the motor assembly. Switches can wear out over time and a sign of a failing switch is tool gradually having greater difficulty starting up. This switch is sold individually.
