?This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with DeWalt angle grinders. This two wire cord had a rubberized jacket, and the wires have crimped terminals to make installation easier. The cordset is available individually.

I damaged the cable

Note the routing of the wires through the frame and which one hooks to which side of the switch. Shoot a couple of cell phone pictures and mark the switch with a sharpie if necessary to remember w ... Read more here the black and white wires go. I did that and I\'m glad I did.
Unhook the power leads from the switch using a screwdriver and remove the old cord.
Slide the rubber piece that prevents kinking of the cord and slide it onto the new cord because it will be reused.
Route the wires, hook up the leads to the switch then reinstall the side plate then the end plate.
That\'s it.
