This plastic switch is supplied by the original manufacturer. It is used in DeWALT small angle grinders. This is a push-button switch controlling on-off functions. One (1) switch is included. Please note that linkage and button slider are sold separately. • Disassemble housing • Remove wiring from the old switch • Disconnect switch from linkage • Reconnect new switch and reassemble housing
1. Determine problem as grinder would not run, suspected brushes. Opened tool, one star drive screw holds bottom to top.

5 ordered switch, came very fast, installed and all works fine.
1. Removed the grinder end cover.
2. Checked the switch, found it bad.
3. Replaced the switch, reassembled the grinder.
4. Replaced the missing guard and the clamp washer.
Removed cover, unplugged old brush, removed old brush, installed new brush.
Removed old switch, installed new switch.
Installed new switch, replaced cover.
Put safety glasses on.
Unplug grinder from power source.
Unscrew cover over the switch.
Disconnect the two wires on switch.
Take the switch out and disconnect the other two wires.
Throw the old switch away.
Connect the two wires to the new switch.
Put switch back in place.

Replace cover over the switch.
Plug grinder into power source.
Turn the grinder on and off to check the switch.
Unplug from power source.
Place grinder into case.
Remove safety glasses.
All done.
Took out screw in end of grinder.
You have to press in switch lock in order to remove case.

Switch paddle lifts right out
Used needle nosed pliers to remove slip on wire connectors
Slide out old switch
Slide in new switch
Reconnect the wires

Slide case back on and replace screw in end of grinder

Disconnected top wiring
Removers the switch
Removed bottom wiring
Attached bottom wiring to new switch
Inserted new switch
Moved switch activating lever to seat new switch
Attached top wiring.
Removed one brush
Held spring back while installing new brush
