This replacement switch is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Dewalt angle grinders. It is the part of the tool handling on/off operations, over time the switch may begin to wear out and develop electrical and mechanical issues eventually requiring replacement. Please note this high-quality plastic part is sold individually.
Found a picture of a newer model grinder of the same amperage that looked close to the same design as the old switch. Took a chance and ordered it and luckily the only difference was a larger trigger on the new switch. Had to remove some plastic from the housing of the old Grinder to make room for the larger trigger. So far so good! Now I
