This is an authentic DeWALT and Black & Decker replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with saws, grinders, jointers, nibblers, plate joiners, polishers, routers, sanders, and shears. The retaining ring attaches to the ball bearing and is made of metal. When replacing this item an allen wrench and a screwdriver might be required during the installation process. It will need to be replaced if it becomes bent or broken. This part is available as an individual replacement.
