This replacement brush is an authentic component which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Dewalt and Black and Decker angle grinders. Carbon brushes are used to maintain a physical contact with an armature helping to conduct electric current. Over time due to normal use the brushes will wear away eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. It is a high-quality component which is sold individually, please note the brush holder is sold separately.
