Product Description ?

It is an authentic replacement part that is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use with Dewalt and Black and Decker sanders. This is the bottom sander pad that the sandpaper is secured over. On new tools the sandpaper may be difficult to install because of the stiffness of the sanding pad. This condition will improve as the pad compresses over time. Please note this durable polymer pad is sold individually.

Sander Pad seems to stick pretty good. Pad has some density to it so it works really we’ll protecting work surface from the screw head. I’m going to try their half sheet Sander pad now that I know these work so well.

The bottom of the sander has a pad on it which was well worn to the point the sander was leaving marks on the material I was sanding.

, razor blade, small paint scraper

Replace the pad. To do that, remove the old pad using a paint scraper and possibly a razor blade depending how well worn and attached to the sander. The pads have an adhesive on the surface that attaches to the sander. After you have scraped/removed the old pad off, remove the thin protective paper/material from the new pad and apply it to the sander, adhesive side down. This is a relative easy orbital sander and well worth the cost and effort to prolong it's use.
