The male adapter for the hose connection assembly was broken and popped out under pressure.

Removed old assembly. Placed new o-ring on the male adapter, inserted in hose connector, and screwed into pressure washer. Then inserted filter seal hose connector.

The illustrated parts breakdown was critical to identifying the proper parts.

Plastic threads wore out and no longer stayed in housing

Replaced male adapter, filter seal hose connector along with new brass female hose connector. Very simple repair.

Leaking at hose inlet to pressure washer

The plastic fine threads on the adapter pulled out and it was leaking there. Also the attached seal to the inlet screen also leaked. Removed worn parts and reinstalled male adapter, used a wide tip screwdriver that I inserted into adapter to screw it into pressure washer. Then pressed in screen filter and gasket. Worked fine, no leak at h ose inlet into pressure washer.

Tightened fitting into pump housing
Added hose washer and screen

Male adapter broker

Simply unscrew the old broken piece and screw the new piece. The male adapter needs a hex wrench to screw it in place.

Biggest problem was to realize I needed an allen wrench to remove broken male adapter. Other than that it is a simple replacement.

Easy repair, the old broken adapter part had already been removed.
Just replaced the broken part and also replaced the adjacent part at the same time.
A very inexpensive repair.

I let male adapter for hose connector get loose and ruin the threads on it.
