My heater blower fan is not working even though I have power to it. Question is shouldnt the heat elements still heat up ? or will a bad motor not send power to the coils if its not spinning? Just debating on weather to replace both
Anthony for model number 665RP kit
Hello and thank you for writing. To prevent overheating most models will not allow the heating element to work unless the blower is working as well, this is a safety feature. You would have to test the parts individually with a multimeter to know if the element has continuity. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Question: Heater Element Fuse Link

I just install a new 665RP, all work fine, except while trying heater out alone, observed heater heating up properly then after reaching full heat, the unit turned off by it self. I understand there is a fuse link on the side of element. can you provide more details, image, appearance, and is this the same as an overload wire connection, how to repair?
Hello edlo,

I don't know if there is a thermal overload or some type of circuit overload in this unit. The manufacture did not provide us with a parts diagram for the 665RP. I think if you call Nutone technical service at 888-336-6151. They should be able to answer your problem.

Good luck,
