This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The flange nut is commonly found in lawn tractors and riding mowers from Poulan, Husqvarna, and Weed Eater. This part is made of metal, and is generally used to secure the mandrel pulley. Please be aware that there are different nuts used in the machine. Refer to the parts diagram to be sure of ordering the correct part. You will require a wrench when replacing this item. This product is available as an individual replacement part.

Belt became loose, only cutting on one side. Discovered the belt pulley and blade not turning.

1. Removed mower deck out from under tractor
2. Attempted to remove the machine screws for the pulley guards, however they broke off due to being seized to the deck. Drilled out and replaced with similar size.
3. Removed top mandrel nut, removed the worn belt pulley.
4. Loosened the 3 machine screws to mandrel, and sepa rated from deck.
5. Removed blade bolt to detach blade. Leave blade secured to mandrel as you will need it for leverage to loosen the nut above belt pulley in order to effectively remove pulley.

Reassemble in reverse order with all appropriate new parts.
