This is an authentic part assembled by the original manufacturer. It is compatible with Black & Decker, Porter Cable, and DeWALT saws and other handheld power tools. A bearing acts as a buffer between moving parts. This reduces friction between those parts. Bearings also stabilize and hold metal parts, preventing damage from incorrect directional movement. These are highly worn parts and require replacement fairly often when in regular use. This bearing is sold individually. Please note that on most of these tools, there are two different needle bearings used. This is the topmost bearing, located closer to the gear cover plate. The other is sold separately.
