This is a genuine Poulan part for use with Hedge Trimmers. The muffler assembly quiets the engine exhaust noise. The most common reasons for replacing the muffler are when the trimmer is loud or runs poorly. This part is sold individually. Let the engine cool and disconnect the spark plug wire before installing this part. The tool that you will need to replace the muffler assembly is a T-27 Torx bit.
