The 3rd (grounding) prong on my 4-slice die cast Breville toaster has detached. Can the plug be replaced, or do I need to replace the toaster?

Hello Andrea, thank you for your question. The manual states : ? Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord or use an adapter. ? Consult a qualified electrician if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. We hope this helps.

The toaster is great, but the plug goes in and out seems like the connection is lost. Don't know why this would happen, so the toaster goes on and off

On One side the lights constantly flash and the two slots go up and down constantly. The other side the two slots only toast one side

Hi Savas, Thank you for your question. If your toaster is not working correctly and the lights are flashing, try removing the crumb tray and cleaning out any crumbs that are in the toaster. Sometimes a build up of crumbs inside the toaster can prevent it from working properly. If this does not help, you will need to check the controls. If you have any questions, please let us know.
