089037006012Hi, I'm trying to replace the hand wheel on my r4517 ridgid table saw, using this part. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the old hand wheel from the pin bolt that attaches it to the mechanism. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Ryan

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. Here are some instructions from your owner's manual that may help you with your repair. First, lift the end cap off the handle assembly using a flat blade screwdriver. Then hold the nylok nut securely and turn the screw counterclockwise to remove the nut completely. Be careful not to remove the screw from the handle or the washer from the end of the screw. Then place the nylok nut into the recessed hole on the back of the height/bevel adjusting handwheel and hold in place. Slide the handle, screw, and washer into the hole on the height/bevel adjusting handwheel. Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise and tighten in place. Then push the end cap back in place on the end of the handle. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
