Is the metal pot with controls available? The plastic control unit has come off with no hope of reattaching it. Screws have let loose and plastic studs have broken.

intermittent heating

Hi David, Thank you for your question. If your crock-pot is heating intermittently, make sure that you are not overfilling it. Check the lid to see if the seal is damaged or worn. If it is, heat will escape from the crock-pot and it will need to be replaced. If you are not overfilling it and the lid is fine, the crock-pot may have a faulty circuit board, heating element, thermal fuse or switches.
