How do I remove my brake lover or brake guard mine is broken and I need to install a new one. Right-hand side I don't know how to get it uninstalled. I have taken off the chain case guard but I don't see anything beyond that I can remove to remove the brake lever. Dale

Hi Dale and thank you for contacting us.Using diagram E you can that this part attaches with parts E41 (collar) with E42 (screw) with E40 (washer) on the inside. The opposite side attaches with E36 (bolt). There is also a pin E35. Once removed you may have to pull on the guard a bit on opposite sides to remove it. To operate the brake lever when you push the chain brake lever forward the chain will stop and when pulled back it will move. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.
