Hi Tommy, Thank you for your question. If the thermocouple is worn out and no longer working or if it is too far away from the flame, the pilot light will go out. If the thermocouple is worn out, it will need to be replaced. If it is too far away from the pilot, you will need to move it closer. If you have any questions, please let us know.
