My gas cap is leaking. Is there a gasket that is supposed to be there? All I have is the cap and the plastic ring that the cap attaches to so it does not fall off. Thanks.

Hi Jack, Thank you for your question. The fuel caps listed for your engine have gaskets. There are 2 gas caps listed for your engine. If you have fuel leaking from the gas cap, it will need to be replaced. The part numbers listed under your model number for the gas caps are 596206 and 84004416.
