The belt keeps slipping off when the debris cover is on. I replaced the belt and drive pulleys this summer.

Hi Tim, Thank you for your question. If the belt keeps slipping, inspect the belt for signs of wear or damage and make sure that it has the correct tension. If the pulleys have debris on them, they will need to be cleaned. Check and make sure that the bolts that secure the pullies are tightened and that the pullies are aligned correctly. Check the pullies for signs of damage and replace them if you need to. Also, sudden movements or jerking of the mower can cause the belt to slip. Try engaging the blades slowly to prevent any sudden movements of the mower. We hope this helps!
