The threads of the rotating Hub that the handles go into are all stripped. Having inspected it the handles that screw into the hub were put in backwards at the factory. My questions is how do I remove the hub?.#44 on the exploded diagram.

Hi Peter and thank you for contacting us, from looking at the picture there is a spring pin (part 45 in the diagram) that secures the hub to the unit. Tap this pin out with a hammer and punch and the hub should then come off. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.
