This dishwasher runs much longer than it should.
Bryan For model number DMT300RFB - August 29, 2022

Hello Bryan, Thank you for your inquiry. A dishwasher can take longer than normal if it is only connected to the cold water, as it takes the element longer to heat the water for cleaning. The water temperature needs to be between 120 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit for ideal operation. It is recommended to run it on hot water. If it is connected to the hot water, then it could be an issue with the heating element. We also recommend checking the water level sensor and turbidity sensor as well. You can test the parts with a multimeter. Next check the filters as they may be clogged, which can slow down the drain cycle. You also want to check your hoses for any kinks or clogs and check the air vent near the sink to make sure there are no obstructions. Check for any excessive mineral deposits as well and run a cleaning cycle. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order for a part, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
