Why does the pot lid not fit tight. Difficult to pour without spill over edges.

Hello Gordon, Thank you for the question. The Lid is not meant to seal %100. This could be caused by tipping the Carafe to far. You will only need to tip the Carafe far enough so the coffee pours from the spout. We hope this helps.

Where can I find replacement water filters. I've ordered them for this model #, but they are always too big. I finally ordered a new machine. With it came the right size for my machine, but I can't order a new coffee maker every two months! Just to get a water filter that is 1"x1 7/8"x7/8"
