Hi Timothy, Thank you for your question. If the sprayer does not draw in paint when the PRIME/SPRAY knob is set to PRIME, there are a few reasons why this may be happening. According to your owner's manual, 1. The paint bucket is empty or the suction tube is not totally immersed in the paint. If the bucket is empty, refill the bucket or immerse the suction tube in paint. 2. The suction set is clogged. If it is, clean the suction set. 3. The suction tube is loose at the inlet valve. If it is, clean the tube connection and tighten it securely. 4. The inlet valve is stuck. If it is, clean the inlet valve. The inlet may be stuck from old paint. Depress the pusher stem to release. 5. The outlet valve is stuck. If it is, the outlet may be stuck from old paint. Remove the inlet valve. Insert a pen or pencil in the housing to release. 6. The inlet valve is worn or damaged. If it is, replace the inlet valve. 7. The PRIME/SPRAY valve is plugged. If it is, take it to an authorized service center. If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!
