Hi Art, Thank you for your question. To verify if your charger is working correctly, you will need to test it with both a good battery and a battery that has difficulty taking a charge. First make sure that the good battery is providing the recommended power for the tool it is used on. If it is, then insert it into the battery charger and watch the indicator lights. A red light should come on. If no lights come on, there is an issue with either the battery or the charger. If the battery is charging normally, the red light will start to blink. If the battery is too hot or cold when you try to charge it, a yellow light may also come on until the battery reaches a stable temperature. Then it will turn off. When the battery is fully charged, the red light should stop blinking. If the lights on the charger turn off then the charger stops and the issue is likely the battery. If the good battery charges normally, remove it and plug in a battery that will not charge. If the charger shows a fault, then there is an issue with the battery. If the charger does not charge either battery, you will need to either have the charger serviced or have it replaced. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
