Hi Pat, Glad to hear from you. We apologize if your previous question was not fully answered. According to the Charbroil website, if you have a low flame, the overpressure device on your grill?s regulator may have been tripped. The regulator attaches to the gas tank and restricts the gas flow in the event of a gas leak. It can be tripped when you turn your grills control knobs on before opening the liquid propane tank valve. If the gas regulator has tripped, your grill will only reach temperatures between 250 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, even with the burners on a high setting. In this situation, you need to reset the gas regulator. To reset the regulator, first open the grill lid. Then make sure that the knobs on the control panel are in the off position. Then turn the propane tank knob to the off position. Then disconnect the regulator from the tank and wait 30 seconds. Then reconnect the regulator to the propane tank and slowly open the propane tank valve all the way. Then follow your grills lighting instructions and you should see a strong steady flame. If you do not see a strong steady flame, there may be an obstruction, a damaged component or a poor connection preventing it from lighting. We hope this helps!
