I need to remove this in order to get the cover off. I need to get at the pressure reducer.

Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. To remove the nut, screw the long bolt that holds the two halves of the shroud together into the nut and tap on the bolt to get it out of the shroud. If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!
