Trying to remove nut off of transmission pulley. It turns but the threaded shaft it is on spins also. Does this mean the tranny is shot?

Hello Ross, Thank you for your inquiry. According to our video for replacing this part, which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu0SenEHpuU , you may need to hold the transmission pulley in place with a screwdriver to keep it from turning the shaft. Good luck with your repair.
