At first I didn't think I rec'd. the correct part because the new knob was too large for the visible part of the bolt. After I realized you could pull it out a bit I saw the larger part of the bolt. It was in tension and wouldn't stay out to catch the threads. I pulled it out as far as it would go, and then pressed a screw driver to the side to hold in place while I screwed on the new knob.

No big deal if you can get the part and ereplacementparts.com had me covered. Easy! Just twist the replacement part on by hand. 5 seconds.

Thread the broken handle from the shaft, then thread the new handle on the shaft and just pop the handle cap on the handle. That's it done.
