Authentic replacement part used on Husqvarna riding lawn mowers/tractors. This cable consists of a metal wire cable with z-type bent end and rubberized cover/body. The clutch cable engages the deck.
You may need pliers to complete this repair.
• First you want to see where the old cable is attached
• Just remove the cable end there and install the new one
• Now you can run the new cable up to the control handle
• Then just as the old cable, put the z-shaped end through the hole in the control handle
• Tie the cable in place just as the old one was, but leave enough clearance and free play to avoid over-bending and breaking the new cable

2. There’s a pin holding the cable assembly at the top, remove that freeing the cable.
3. Remove old cable.
4. Put new cable in place at the top, and put pin back.
5. Route new cable down through body, and over top of where it clips in down below.
6. Be sure to attach spring first, then you can easily pull the cable back through where it clips in at the bottom.
7. Push gas tank back into place and tighten bolts.
That should do it. Just be sure that you don’t attempt to put it though the clip in area near the bottom and then terminate the spring.
