The part was received quickly, installation went easy, only problem THE BOLT FROM THE OLD MANDREL WAS TOO SMALL TO REATTACH THE BLADE.. MIGHT NEED TO INCLUDE THE BOLT ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO FINISH!!! HAD TO REMOVE THE MANDREL, GO TO THE HARDWARE STORE, FIND A BOLT, THEN REATTACH MANDREL AND BLADE.

2. Removed the shaft and bearings from the broken mandrel.
3. Placed the bearings and the shaft in the new mandrel.
4. Placed the mandrel on the mower deck. Finished.

Removed mower deck with 5 clips and detached belt.
Removed pulley above mandrel with one nut.
Removed blade with one nut.
Removed mandrel with four bolts.
Reverse process for assembly.
Had to call to learn mandrel bolts are self tapping. Thankfully customer support had the information on that!

Housing mandrel broke again. The blade hits the ground or something that stops it and the torque breaks the housing mount from the deck.

Drop the deck. Seems like a lot but well worth it to pull a few pins and get it out where you can work on it. Remove housing mandrel. Pop the bearings and rod out and put them in the new one. Then bolt it back on the deck and put the deck back on the mower.
