Back screw holes had no threads like the original.
Handle was different than original, the lower two what were screw holes with threads were now just holes. I had to use lock nuts on the screws in order to fasten the lower handle on to the edger. It worked, but causes some concern about exact replacement parts.

Easy repair. Lower holes on original piece where tapped. On the replacement part they were though holes so I had to come up with nuts to complete the repair.

    I Made It Work!
Telephone staff was affable and cooperative and ultimately got the job done. Part somehow got 'lost in the mail' (FedEx) and was ultimately expedited to 10 days. Though part was basically the correct part it was not machined correctly! It has four attaching holes that are all supposed to be machine threaded to accept the stock bolt. Two at the bottom were not. Meaning a 20 minute job turned into an hour and twenty minutes because I had to find a nut that fit for both. Didn't have them. Had to run to the hardware store and get them. Lot of vibration at that point so we'll hope in the long haul they stay put! It's working but a bit of a hassle and ten days to get it. Unfortunately, because of Amazon Prime, I have become a bit spoiled! 10 days and the hassles seemed like an eternity! The phone reps were very nice.

    lower handle
the lower handle lined up and fit perfectly,,, but,,, the lower holes were not threaded. the failed part had threaded lower holes. i had to go to the hardware store and buy new fasteners (bolts, washers and nuts) for the lower holes so it would fit securely in place.
