1) Unplug saw
2) Remove the brushes and mark top and location (front or rear)
3) Disassemble saw to get at bearing at drive end of armature
4) Clean all parts of grease and bearing fragments
5) Pull damaged bearing from the armature.
6) Reinstall new bearing using a deep socket to gently tap it into place ... Read more />7) Reassemble in reverse order. I used a new saw guard spring because it was needed.
