Toro Inlet safety cover worked great. I was just about to buy a new leafblower because the unit will not run because of the safety feature built into the unit. Not having the inlet cover rendered the unit useless because of a button that engages the power under the inlet cover. I found my tools code. looked over the detailed diagram for my electric blower/vac. it was easy. I made sure I chose the right part. the site mentioned models that were built before and after my machine. I checked my tool's model name and number. I ordered the part. it was simple. I checked the part when it arrived. the part is a snap on shield that also secures the blower attachment. it was the right part. one of three projects I have used Ereplacement for parts I needed. thank you. I did not have to get rid of tools that work but were missing a part.
Inlet cover, covers the intake opening which exposes the rotor fan. if tool is used as a vacuum, the opening is covered by the vacuum extension tube. when the tool is used as a blower, the opening must be covered by the inlet cover to shield anything being sucked into the rotor fan. the inlet cover also helps secure the blower attachment.

Removed existing plastic inlet housing from bottom of blower and installed new inlet housing. Housing simply snaps in place.

My blower was missing the inlet cover. What I found out, is that the cover has a pin in it, to allow the blower to work.
