Removed the covers so I could access the ignition coil, then removed the old ignition coil. Then installed the new ignition coil and gapped the distance between the flywheel magnets and ignition coil with a business card. It cranked right up.

Took the back cover off of the Weedeater and pulled the whole motor assembly out about 3 inches. Removed 2 screws and the coil came right off. Put an old business card on the flywheel and bolted the new one back on. Spun it by hand to make sure that I had clearance. Slid the motor assembly back into place and replaced the rear cover. Put the air filter in and then primed it up and it started on the first pull. Easy as falling off a rock.

Pulled trimmer apart and replaced parts. Pretty simple if you are mechanically inclined. If you don't know what you are doing a simple YouTube video will walk you through it. Took me maybe a half-hour to replace both things which included watching the video on how to do it.
