The igniter uses a battery to create an electric charge that is sent to the electrode when the button is pressed. This igniter is priced as a single item, please note the battery is not included.

    Replaced regulator

    Removed sear Plate #2 Phillips
    Removed 4 screws that’s secure igniter cage socket set
    Disconnected igniter wire
    Removed igniter cap and battery
    Removed igniter adjustable wrench

    Repeat process in reverse to return to service.
    The seat plate was ordered as a spare.

    Ignitor for BBQ grill needed replacing

    1. Disconnected wire from old ignitor.
    2. Unscrewed battery-cap from old ignitor and removed battery.
    3. Unscrewed nut securing old ignitor to grill.
    4. Connected wire to new ignitor.
    5. Secure new ignitor to grill with nut.
    6. Place new battery into ignitor and screw battery-cap on.

    Warming rack had broken; Igniter would not light

    Warming rack just sits in place - it's sized perfectly. Igniter was a simple replacement with tightening of screw-type fasteners. Grill works like new!
