Item arrived quickly. Installed in a few minutes, took a few more to properly adjust with feeler gauge. The spark plug cap had rubber flash inside which made it difficult to properly insert the plug, finally carved it out with a craft blade. Motor fired on first pull so replacement a success.

Easy, but lots of parts to remove to access it. I removed the old module, then installed the new one. I set the gap between the flywheel magnets and the module at 0.25 After changing the ignition module, engine started on 3rd pull. Excellent service from ereplacement. Will buy again.

Trimmer would not start. Diagnosed with a spark plug tester. There was no spark seen in the tester even after changing the spark plug.
1.Disconnect spark plug wire, and remove the spark plug.
    2. Remove front and back covers of the trimmer.
    3. Disconnected the kill switch connection from the terminal on the module.
    4. Take out the two phillips head screws.
    5. Remove old ignition module and replace with new module.
    6. Ensure the flywheel will rotate freely then reinstall and tighten the two phillips head screws.
    7. Connect the kill switch wire to the terminal on the ignition module.
    8. Install front and rear covers. Make sure the plug wire and kill switch wires do not become pinched when reinstalling covers.
    9. Install spark plug and connect spark plug wire.
Rechecked the spark with spark plug tester and it showed a good spark. Trimmer started.

I had to disassemble all covers and separate motor from shaft not hard to do with a T-25 torx driver. Coil is easy to get to. When putting new coil on turn flywheel so magnets are in line with coil and use a business card to gap them. Then tighten the coil down.
The whole process took me about 40 minutes.
