The pull chain broke at the very top, before the chain extension. Can this be repaired. I have the extension chain intact.

Hello Linda, Thank you for your inquiry. You should be able to replace the chain, by using a screw driver to remove the base to access the chain switch which is part of the wiring harness. You may need to replace the switch, but you should be able to see where the chain attaches and replace it. We hope this helps.
