This is a genuine Porter Cable part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in drywall sanders. The hose clamp nut is made out of plastic and fits next to the clamp ring. If this part becomes broken it will need to be replaced. During the installation process, a screwdriver may be needed to replace this part. This clamp nut is priced as an individual replacement part.
