  • The part I ordered was perfect
I ordered a replacement harness for my gas powered, back pack style blower. The part I ordered was identical the original part that had failed due to wear and tear! Great experience.

Previous harness broke at the bolt

Replacing the actual harness itself was simple - Undo the four caps holding the previous harness onto the devise, put the new harness on over the bolts, then recap. Done. The "hard" part for me was inserting the lower support bar into the appropriate slots within the harness. It was easy to insert the bar into one side or the other, but not both. It was easier to have someone else hold the harness while I moved the bar into place. The new harness works great. I just hope it lasts longer than the original did.

I've used the website many times and have always had a good experience.

To change the backpack only requires a wrench to remove & replace the locknuts on the frame. However, since the replacement does not come with a belt, I cut the belt frame off the old unit and attached it to the new unit. This required drilling out the old unit rivets and integrating the belt with the new unit and attaching with zip-ties. Works like new. If the belt is not reused, then the blower could become unstable if you bend over your project - for me that is cleaning my roof - not a safe thing to have happen.
