Product Description ?

Genuine Manufacturer Approved replacement part used on Skil Saws. This part is made out of Plastic and it includes both sides of the Housing. Please note Screws used to attach it are sold separately.

Torx T25 screwdriver is needed for repair.

• Make sure to unplug you tool before starting the repair
• First you want to remove all the handle screws
• Then you will be able to separate Two Halves of the Handle
• Remove Switch and Cord Clamp from the Handle
• Replace the Old Handle with the New handle
• Secure the Switch and Cord Clamp in the handle
• Reassemble the Handle using the Screws

    Well, first of all, I ordered these parts so long ago it took me a while to remember what they were for. I think I ordered them in late summer--and it's now late winter.

    The repair was simple and went fine. Parts all fit like new. The old Skilsaw lives again!

    Saw fell off sawhorse breaking handle.

    Removed right hand side of handle.
    Took picture of wiring (just in case)
    Removed left side of handle being very careful to hold wiring and 'trigger' switch in place.
    Attached left side of new handle and reinserted wiring and switch.
    Installed right side of handle carefully tucking in wiring.

    Broke both handles

    Removed broken upper handle and installed new handle.
    Removed the pistol grip operator handle. Routed the wires in the new handle. Placed the two side together and installed the 4 Tork screws, then secured the handle to the saw with the remaining 4 Tork screws.

    Saw was dropped and fractured handles

    Socket set, Torks bit set and 1/4\\

    Removed handle half on main grip, took picture for reference with phone to reference wiring on the switch, detached ground to motor case, removed switch and old cord and guard, transferred switch and attached new cord and guard to new grip half, removed old grip half and installed new grip half assembly and attached ground other new grip half and new top handle.

    Replaced broken handles on Skil worm drive saw

    Removed the screws from both the broken switch handles
    Removed the switch and the cord clamp
    Attached the cord clamp and the switch
    Installed both handles on the saw
    Removed the screws from the top handle
    Then screwed the new top handle on

    Removed shoulder bolts , removed broken handle halves , removed switch , reinstalled switch into new handle halves , reinstalled new handle to saw with new shoulder bolt , one had stripped from many years of owning the saw , since 2007 . Installed new brushes
