This component is fastened between the gearcase assembly and the clamp washer, providing protection to the operator and the blade. The guard is sold individually. A hex wrench is required for the removal and replacement.

Dewalt DCS413 Cutting Guard
The Dewalt DCS413 does not come with a guard for cutting wheels, only grinding wheels. This version has the indexed retainer, not the clamp. Fits perfectly!!!
