Description:

This is a genuine part that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with craftsman lawn mowers. The grass bag collects grass clippings that are cut by the blade, making disposal quick and easy. The bag is made of thick canvas martial with an outer layer of mesh for ventilation. This part is sold individually and does not come with the grass bag frame, which is sold separately (part #747-04080A-0637). No tools are required to install this part, simply line up the hole to the back of the mowing deck and snap into place.

Bag on grass catcher wore through and needed replacement.

Snap the retaining clips off the frame and remove old bag. Slide new bag on the frame oriented the same way the old one was. Press retaining clips onto frame. Done.

Bottom of original bag finally wore holes from dragging on ground

Removed the frame from the old bag--the plastic lips of the bag just roll over the frame so started unrolling them at top and they just peeled away
Insert frame into new bag and re-install the plastic lips over the frame rails.
Insert bag into mower and off we go for another few years! Thanks for the new part!

Had to change out the bolts as the bag and rack would not rest. Smooth end of the bolt had to be on the inside where the bag rested.
