Hello Sharon, Thank you for the question. The Glass Lens just snaps out of place and you can access the Bulb and the socket to replace the Bulb. We hope this helps!

Just lowered the glass holder, set the glass in and adjusted the clips that hold for safety, raised the holder back into place and VOILA!! Task completed.
