This pulse generator is an OEM direct from Honda. Constructed of durable metal and plastic components, this part is made for use with many generator machines. The pulse generator produces rectangular pulses in the generator circuits. A wrench set and a screwdriver are necessary for making the replacement. Please be sure to refer to the specific manual and diagrams for repair instructions. The pulse generator is sold individually.

Honda 2000 wouldnt start. I put this gen to the test in the desert sand dunes, overloaded it tortured it. So the stator windings , the pulse generator for the spark plug and the spark unit replaced.
