This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Delta radial arm saws. It is an important part of the adjusting mechanism. This gear is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver and a wrench set. • First you want to positions saw on its side • Punch out roll pin holding the gear on • Remove old gear • Install new gear on shaft • Secure gear with roll pin

Removed keeper pins, replaced nylon gear and reinserted keeper pins. Simple but a little tight to get the punch in position to remove keeper pins.

1. Removed saw from pedestal
2. Removed pin from gear shaft.
3, Replace broken gear with new gear.
4. Replaced pin in gear shaft.
5. Remounted saw onto pedestal
6. Completely realigned saw.

Remove and replace gears. Keeper pins were rusted and difficult to remove. Hence hammer and punch. No real issues.

Unplug, lay saw on it\'s side. Punch out roll pins holding the gears on. Install new gears on shaft with the roll pins.Re-position the saw and plug it back in.
