Product Description ?

This is an authentic Mr. Heater replacement part manufactured for use with heaters. The specialty gasket is used to form a seal between the burner and burner tile. It is recommended to replace the gasket when servicing the heater to ensure a proper seal when the parts are reassembled. This tile gasket is available as an individual replacement part.

    Sent the wrong parts for my big buddy heater
    LP regulator was wrong but I was able to make it work. Both sets of gaskets were wrong so I cut them and glued them together to make them work. I will be firing it up outside in case it blows up.

    Tile gasket was damaged allowing too much oxygen to get to the gas and resulting in a huge flame in that particular tile then it would pop and it would go out completely

    To start remove the outer grill then you can remove the heat shield to expose the upper and lower of the tiles then you must remove the upper and the lower bar that runs across the top and bottom of the tiles be extremely careful and when pulling the tiles out as they are more fragile than eggs .
    The tile gasket is right behind the tile setting in a little pocket

    Easy to replace the ceramic burner tile on my 15 year old MH9B Mr. Buddy Heater. It is important to also important to replace the ceramic burner tile gasket while doing this repair. Heater now works like it should.

    Took the cover off with a screwdriver. Replaced the burner and the gasket. Put the cover back on, then tested and it worked. Very simple.

    2 remove clips from ceramic burner
    3 replace gasket and burner
    4 replace clips

    Replaced gasket that had torn. Used new ceramic burner and replaced both clips, one was lost when unpacking camper, the heater was stored on its front, parts wiggled loose in transport. Old burner has a few small chips on side, usable and still in good condition. Small screw driver was used in placement of clips .
